Sharath Srinivasan is David and Elaine Potter Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Studies and Director of the Centre of Governance and Human Rights at Cambridge University. He is also a Fellow of King’s College, Cambridge. He has researched the domestic and international politics of Sudan and South Sudan for over a decade, and his publications include ‘Negotiating Violence: Sudan’s Peacemakers and the War in Darfur’ (African Affairs, 2014).
