The Somali Dialogue Platform is looking for eligible organizations to partner with on the programme, Support to political dialogue around the security sector in Somalia. The purpose of this work is to enable, support and inform dialogue processes around core contentious issues in the Somali security policy, helping decision-makers to reach negotiated settlements on complex national security issues.
This project is intended as a short pilot phase in advance of the set-up of longer-term programming after 1 April 2023. During the pilot phase, the partner organization will test approaches to consensus building around Somalia's security settlement and, in the process, contribute to the development of a longer-term (two-year) programme.
