Celebrating 20 years of RVI: Making local knowledge work

''

RVI was founded in southern Sudan 20 years ago. For the next few months we are celebrating two decades of RVI with our anniversary programme of events and publications highlighting the different areas our of work.

This will include a series of RVI Forums considering the last twenty years, and the future, in eastern Africa, the Horn and the Great Lakes regions, plus a freshly compiled collection of some of RVI's most celebrated publications. These will include reports, briefings and blogs from our projects in the Sudans, Somalia and Somaliland, Ethiopia, Kenya and the DRC.

RVI invites you to celebrate this anniversary with us and to learn more about the work we have done over the last twenty years, and what we hope to achieve in the future. We have created an RVI@20 website to showcase the celebratory events we have organised for the rest of the year.
