Ahmed Omer is a Programme Administrator working with Rift Valley Institute based in Hargeisa. He has close to 10 years’ experience in research, M&E and project management. He has worked in the Somali regions and Djibouti as an M&E Coordinator and Programme Manager for international organizations such as ActionAid, DRC, NRC and PSI. Through his professional and academic experience as a teacher, Ahmed has been able to deepen his analysis of the Somali context and his research across various sectors, including community and business development, and private sector-led distribution of health products. Ahmed holds two BSc. degrees, one in Mathematics and Statistics with Management and one in Civil Engineering.
