Emery Mushagalusa Mudinga

Emery Mushagalusa Mudinga is a PhD student in the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences/Centre of Development Studies at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium where his research focuses on land grabbing and peasant resistance in South Kivu, DRC. Since 2003, he has worked with civil society organizations in the DRC on several development projects and in 2013 he initiated a process of reflection on the socio-political crisis in the groupement de Kalonge. He chairs the pacification commission set up by the Barongeronge community to deal with their crisis.
